Description

The Thule Omnistor 5200 is a retractable awning system designed for use on campervans and motorhomes. It's one of the best ways to provide shade and shelter from the sun and rain when you are parked up on your travels.

The awning fabric is made from durable, weather-resistant materials and comes in a variety of colours and patterns to suit your style. It is also equipped with an adjustable pitch mechanism, allowing you to angle the awning for maximum shade or protection from the rain.

The Thule Omnistor 5200 perfectly fits van conversions, motorhomes and caravans. The awning is available in 7 lengths from 1.92m to 4.52m.

Its design and look match the contemporary recreational vehicle designs and are better integrated on the vehicle sides. The awning is up to 3% lighter than its predecessor with a maximum projection of 2.50m.

Can the Omnistor 5200 be used in windy conditions?

The awning is designed to withstand moderate wind conditions, but it should be retracted in high winds or storms to avoid damage.

Is it possible to install the awning myself?

Installation can be done by a competent DIYer, but it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and have the necessary tools and equipment.

The awning cassette is available in our online shop in either White or Anthracite.

The Thule Omnistor 5200 has built-in mounting for an optional third support leg to allow for even greater stability. It is recommended to use the optional third support leg for an awning length from 3.50m.

The Thule Omnistor 5200 has a simple cloth roll setting for perfect closing of the awning on the opposite side of the gearbox, even after years of use. The Thule Omnistor comes standard with its own drainage system for rain.

The awning housing is made of robust profiles to ensure safety and reliability. The spring arms with integrated clamping arms ensure a perfectly tensioned awning fabric even with increased wind force. Standard from awning length of 4.00m, retrofittable for shorter awnings.

Thanks to the pitch system, the angle of attack can be set individually. The vehicle door can also be opened or closed when the awning is extended.

User-friendly system to help you set up and adjust the support legs to the right heights.

Quick Release Support Legs

The quick-release support legs are very easy to unlock and store by operating them on the outside and no longer at the centre of the awning. The support legs are dropped vertically from the awning lead rail to prevent damaging the vehicle wall. In case of rain, put one support leg slightly lower so the water can easily drain off.

Easy Cleaning

Equipped with its own drainage system in the front profile. This is convenient in case of rain, but also when cleaning the fabric once or twice a year with the Thule PVC Cleaner.

Optional Tent LED Mounting Rail

An optional tent rail covers the gap under the awning which means that the wall adapters are no longer visible. This rail has two functions, you can either install a Thule awning tent or/and add a Thule LED strip.
