Description

The Vango Drive Away Awning Kit will allow you to easily drive away from your awning, by simply sliding out the kador beading strip, which is attached via the figure of 8 channel, enabling you to drive away for day trips without having to unpitch your awning...how handy!

Vango Drive Away Kits are compatible with all Vango drive away awnings.

This Vango Drive Away Awning Kit can also be used with VW T4, T5 and T6 campervans fitted with a Reimo MultiRail, VW Brandrup or C-Channel Rail.

One side of the fabric strip is designed to fit into the supplied plastic figure of 8 strip that attaches directly to the awning and the additional 4mm/6mm side is designed to fit in your vehicles gutter rail. Please check the size of your vehicles gutter rail before purchase.

The size of the kit required is dependent on the size, length and type of attachment on the vehicle of your rail:

  • 3m - 3 meters long with 6mm to 6mm beading strip and figure of 8 included. Either side of the beading strip will slide into a C-Channel rail.
  • 3m - 3 meters long with 6mm to 4mm beading strip and figure of 8 included. The 4mm beading strip will slide into your existing Thule or Fiamma awning that is attached to your vehicle.
  • 4m - 4 meters long with 6mm to 6mm beading strip and figure of 8 included. Either side of the beading strip will slide into a C-Channel rail.
  • 4m - 4 meters long with 6mm to 4mm beading strip and figure of 8 included. The 4mm beading strip will slide into your existing Thule or Fiamma awning that is attached to your vehicle.

    • How To Use?

  • 1. Slide the 3 Figure of 8 sections onto the awning's kador beading strip.
  • 2. Slide one edge of the kador beading strip piping into the Figure of 8 Channel.
  • 3. Slide the remaining edge into the C-Channel rail fitted to your campervan at the same time.
