Description

The Vango Tailgate Hub Low Drive Away Awning is a freestanding awning designed for use with campervans and motorhomes with a barn door layout or tailgate. It features a low profile, making it ideal for vehicles with a lower roof height.

The Tailgate Hub is Vango's first rear attachment awning, ideal for couples or independent travellers with a spirit of adventure.

The awning can attaches to the vehicle via a drive-away connection or sit aloft the vehicle without. Effortless attachment requires only pegging straps at the front of the vehicle and tunnel area, allowing the awning to fit neatly to your vehicle without the need for kador rails. However, should you wish to use them, the traditional attachment options of roof bar attachment tabs, kador and a sleeve for pole and clamp are also included.

The Tailgate Hub Low is made from a durable, waterproof material with a 4000mm hydrostatic head rating, making it highly resistant to rain and other weather conditions. It also features multiple entrances and mesh panels for improved ventilation and air flow, as well as an adjustable rear tunnel that allows you to connect it to a variety of vehicles.

The perfect quick pitch for short stops, the Tailgate Hub has been designed with active adventurers in mind. 

Two doors in the connecting tunnel make for a convenient storage area, while Vango's reliable and lightweight Sentinel Active Fabric, ensures a compact pack size, easily stored away when not in use.

Other features of the Vango Tailgate Hub Low Drive Away Awning include an integrated canopy, which provides additional shelter and protection from the elements, and a sewn-in groundsheet, which helps to keep out bugs and other unwanted pests.

The Tailgate Hub does not require the tailgate to be open to support the structure, so you can simply roll away the connecting tunnel should you want to drive off and explore for the day. Be ready for any adventure with the Tailgate Hub.

The Tailgate Hub will also work on vans with barn or double doors, as a tailgate is not required to support the tent structure!

  • Touring Awning – This awning is designed for touring use; it is not designed for static or long-term seasonal pitching as extensive exposure to UV light will cause accelerated fabric degradation. UV degradation is not covered under the warranty. However, under normal holiday use your awning will give long service
